Bozeman is home to artists of all disciplines. The downtown is full of galleries showcasing pottery, paintings, and jewelry, to name just a few. Some say it is the beauty in the area that inspires so much creativity; but wherever it comes from, it’s abundant.
Downtown art walks are a favorite summer activity whether it’s date night, ladies night, or boys night out. Forty-two area galleries and businesses host receptions showcasing new art with the artists on hand to chat about their work. Often complimentary hors-d'oeuvres and refreshments are served and you’ll always find a friendly face and interesting conversation.
“I love Bozeman art walks! I am always amazed at the quality and quantity of art being made in Bozeman. And I generally find a gift or two along the way.” - John, Bozeman resident.
Throughout downtown, you’ll find local musicians performing live jazz, rock and country music. We suggest paring the evening with a late dinner or an evening show to round out the night.
Art walks occur the second Friday of the month at 6:00 pm from June through September, with a winter art walk on December 14, 2018. All events are free and open to the public.
This year’s schedule is as follows:
- June 8, 2018
