Bozeman Film Society; Keeping ‘Em Flickering

For those in the know, Bozeman is a hub of activity when it comes to film. Since 1960, Montana State University has been turning out highly creative and technically savvy students who go on to pursue successful careers. The founder of the department, Jack Stonnell, had a strong vision for film in our community and in 1978 he went on to establish the Bozeman Film Festival, now known as the Bozeman Film Society. The organization consisted of a group of professors and community members who banded together and started showing American classics at the beautiful Rialto theater.

Iconic Bozeman; Emerson Cultural Center Fall Events

The Emerson Cultural Center has successfully weaved an art community into the fabric of Bozeman. From hosting summer camps, art exhibits and gallery tours, to providing art education to thousands of children and adults, the organization is building community through the arts and culture. The space, a retired elementary school, is an ideal place for community events, the summer concert series, “Lunch on the Lawn,” and is home to 58 working studios for arts and culture related tenants.

The Lark Completes Hotel Expansion, Continuing Commitment to Downtown Bozeman

The LARK, a local hotel in the heart of downtown Bozeman, has completed its expansion that began in late 2016. This new building provides 29 additional guestrooms, bringing the total room count to 67. Part of the new addition is a café space on the ground floor, which will be operated by Treeline Coffee Roasters, offering the public and hotel guests espresso, tea, and coffee, as well as light bites for breakfast, such as pastries, and grab-and-go lunch items. Inviting outdoor spaces surround the property and offer comfortable gathering places to enjoy a refreshment and take in the Main Street vibe.
