Up and Coming Bozeman; Four Corners Area

Bozeman is undeniably up and coming. From infill projects within city limits to expansion on each end of town, the growth is bringing opportunities for entrepreneurs of all trades. In Four Corners, expansion means a variety of new businesses, a welcome addition for area residents, and a draw for visitors and locals seeking the goods and services densely tucked into this corner of Gallatin County.

Classic Favorites

Of course, there are the mainstays that have anchored the area for years. Kountry Korner Café serves comforting, traditional meals, fantastic pie, and a sense of family and camaraderie. Plus, they have live music three nights a week and specials such as the chicken and rib buffet! Mama Macs has long been the go-to place for breakfast and sandwiches before hitting the river or the ski slopes (we recommend the quiche!) While you’re there, pick up one of their fresh loaves of bread! Best Burger’s drive-through is perfect for a quick meal of burgers, shakes, and fries!

Lone Peak Provisions

New on the Food Scene

Several new food purveyors have popped up recently, and the options are incredible. El Mercadito, a Latin market, is stuffed to the brink with delicious meats, produce grab-and-go meals, dried chilies, and exciting products. Their marinated meats, such as al pastor, are perfect for a quick dinner. Primal is a full-service butcher shop carrying seafood, deli options, and ready-to-grill meals. Lone Peak Provisions, another butchery, sells all Montana meat, dry-aged steaks, take-and-bake meals, and other accouterments they create in-house. Finally, Mr. Burrito serves authentic Mexican burritos and tacos all day, and the drive-through is open 24 hours! (Perfect for those early-morning or late-night travelers!)

Bunkhouse Brewing

Two breweries have made their home in Four Corners, Bunkhouse Brewery and New Ventures Brewing. This is the second location for Bunkhouse, whose original taproom is across from MSU. New Ventures brings more than just great beer; they also provide home brewing supplies, classes, book chats, movie nights, and a monthly potluck!

Dry Hills Distillery makes a full line of bourbon, whiskey, vodka, and gin, all sourced from their family farm. Stop by the tasting room or inquire about bulk sales for commercial venues.

Bozeman Hot Springs continues to raise the bar on the soaking experience with twelve pools of varying temperatures both indoors and out, along with a cold plunge and dry and wet saunas. Enjoy live music in the bandstand while you soak most Thursdays and Sundays.

Four Corners has become a hub for outdoor motorsports retailers and rentals. Summit MotorsportsGallatin Recreation, and Blitz Motor Sports have new and pre-owned inventory lines. In addition, big Boys Toys rents off-road vehicles for both summer and winter! Their proximity makes it easy to shop all the brands, and they are all centrally located to get out into the mountains and canyons around Bozeman.

Shop Till You Drop

You’ll also find some retail treasures in this neck of the woods. Rocky Mountain Hat Company is a father-son team crafting beautiful, high-quality custom hats. Montana Expressions, one of Bozeman’s longstanding furniture stores, also carries one-of-a-kind furniture, lighting, antiques, art, and home accessories. Big Bear Furniture has hand-made furniture, including Barn Wood, a line of furniture made from reclaimed barn wood.

For entertainment, the kids will love Jump Time trampoline park, which has a ninja warrior course, basketball, dodgeball, and a toddler zone in addition to trampolines. Grown-ups are getting a kick out of Lookout Throwing Company, Montana’s original indoor urban axe-throwing facility. And for the anglers out there, Fins and Feathers, now part of Yellow Dog Fly Fishing, has a full line of rods, reels, waders, boots, and fly-tying materials. Their professional guides can show you the ropes if you're new to the area.
