Winter Traditions in Bozeman for the Family

When winter hits in Bozeman, Montana, many activities come with it to celebrate the season and community spirit. Beginning with the Christmas Stroll on Saturday, December 2, you’ll find a string of traditions the whole family will enjoy.

Christmas Stroll

The 43rd annual event begins with Holidays at the Emerson on Friday, December 1. Explore local artist’s work at the Holiday Bazaar, then enjoy Holiday Noir, a saucy variety show. Saturday, follow Santa in the parade down Main Street for the lighting of the Christmas decorations. Merchants stay open late, food vendors line the streets, carolers perform, and photos with Santa take place at the Baxter Hotel. Stop in at the Lewis and Clark Hotel and admire the nutcracker collection, with over 900 nutcrackers on display in the lobby.
