Bozeman Concerts at Local Music Venues

Bozeman's diverse music venues have some seriously smokin' hot summer lineups! From world-class country and Americana artists, to reggae, rock, and soul, there's something for everyone.

1. The Elm

Notable concerts: Blind Pilot on July 12th, Silversun Pickups on July 15th, Pecos & The Rooftops on July 31st, Michael Franti & Spearhead on August 6th, and more.

As Bozeman's largest dedicated music venue, The Elm consistently books the biggest names that come through Bozeman. The 1,000-person capacity space is big enough for major touring acts while maintaining a cozy, intimate atmosphere.

2. Brick Breeden Fieldhouse

Notable concerts: Alison Krauss and Union Station on July 26th and Billy Strings on August 15th.

When a big-name artist's tour bus rolls into Bozeman, chances are it's heading to the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. This Montana State University basketball arena moonlights as the city's go-big-or-go-home concert venue, with artists like Billy Strings and Allison Kraus gracing the stage this summer.

The Fieldhouse provides that arena concert experience while maintaining the community feel that makes Bozeman special.

3. The Rialto

Notable concerts: Stay tuned for announcements!

Located in the heart of downtown Bozeman, The Rialto offers one of the city's most beloved concert experiences. The venue's main stage area, called the Black Box, accommodates 400 people and features a mezzanine overlooking the stage for unique viewing angles.

Beyond hosting some seriously fun Bozeman concerts, The Rialto also houses a German restaurant and beer hall upstairs — Gute Laune — making it easy to grab dinner before a show.

4. Live From the Divide

Notable concerts: Rob Baird Album Release Party Night 1 on July 11th, and Night 2 on July 12th, Cruz Contreras & The Black Lillies on July 18th, Wild Horses on July 30th, and their first outdoor concert with The Wilder Blue on August 6th.

With only 50 seats, Live From The Divide is one of the most, if not the most, intimate concert venue in Bozeman. This cozy venue specializes in American Roots Music creates an atmosphere that feels more like a private living room concert than a traditional venue.

5. The Filler (Filling Station)

Notable concerts: Check their Facebook page for events.

The Filler is Bozeman's musical dive bar in the best possible way – the kind of place where the beer's cold, the vibe's authentic, and the music hits just right. You can usually buy tickets to most of these Bozeman concerts at the door, which usually cost between $10 and $30.

It's the perfect spot for discovering emerging artists and enjoying live music in a no-frills setting that locals have embraced for years.

6. Tune Up Bar

Notable concerts: Check Tune Up's event page for updates.

Located in the basement of the historic Armory Hotel, Tune Up Bar operates as an intimate speakeasy-style venue that combines craft cocktails with live performances. With live music four nights a week, from Wednesday through Saturday, there's almost always something going on.

1. Sweet Pea Festival

The Sweet Pea Festival Main Stage features a dynamic mix of national touring acts, rising indie stars, and regional favorites. From Americana to reggae, folk, country and rock, the music lineup has something for everyone. The best part? When you're done listening to music, check out the art vendors or other live performances, like aerial dance and ballet.

3. Big Sky Country Fair

Notable concerts: Chris Janson on July 16th, Trampled by Turtles and American Aquarium on July 17th, and Ja Rule on July 18th.

The Big Sky Country State Fair is a 5-day fair set to be held on Jul 16-20, 2025 at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. While the fair encompasses much more than music, the live performances add a soundtrack to the classic American fair experience of carnival rides, agricultural exhibits, and local food vendors.

4. Alpenglow Festival

Notable concerts: Ashley Walls on August 22nd, with more to be announced.

Alpenglow is a newer country music festival that showcases local talent alongside world-class artists. It's two days jam-packed with excitement for everyone, and takes place August 22 & 23 at Aspen Crossing, right outside Ponderosa Social Club.
