Bozeman Art Festivals, Markets, and Walks: Your Summer 2025 Guide

Picture this: You're wandering through Downtown Bozeman on a warm summer night, a cold beverage in one hand and locally-made ceramic mug in the other, while live music drifts through the air and artists sell their creative masterpieces. Welcome to Bozeman's art scene!

From festivals that transform parks into outdoor galleries to monthly art walks on Main Street, Bozeman serves up art with a side of mountain magic. Whether you're the type who knows their Monet from their Manet or someone who just knows what they like when they see it, you'll probably find yourself saying "I didn't know I needed this in my life" more times than you can count.

You’ll also find all sorts of locally-made art, from prints to jewelry to pottery. Check it out and see what you find – with over 30 art vendors, you’re bound to find something you want to take home with you!

4. Sweet Pea Festival

Dates: August 1-3, 2025, all day
Location: Lindley Park
Tickets: Purchase wristbands here

The Sweet Pea Festival transforms Lindley Park into an artistic wonderland during the first weekend of August, and calling it "just a festival" is like calling Yellowstone "just a park."
This three-day celebration has been Bozeman's premier arts festival for decades. Artists and art lovers come to Bozeman from across the Rocky Mountain West and beyond, browsing booths that showcase everything from watercolor paintings so realistic they look like photos, to actual photos from around the region.

Enjoy live music, comedy shows, ballet performances, aerial dance productions, and so much more. On Saturday, head downtown for a parade!

The SLAM Festival is a free art festival at Bogert Park in early August. SLAM stands for Support Local Artists and Musicians, and that’s exactly what this festival aims to do. With a mission "to promote the arts and art education in a manner that enriches and involves the community," SLAM delivers on that promise with art markets, live music, family activities, food trucks, and more!

The best part? You're not just buying art — you're directly supporting the local creative community and maybe even making a friend in the process.

You’ll find these shops located off of N Wallace Avenue and Peach Street. While this year’s date is TBD, we’re crossing our fingers it’ll be announced soon!
