Bozeman’s Restaurant Week Starts April 22!

Food lovers are thrilled – the fourth annual Downtown Bozeman Restaurant Week kicks off April 22-28, 2024. The event, which began in response to COVID to help boost restaurant business, has evolved into a community event drawing people from around Montana, as well as residents to enjoy the local cuisine.

Bozeman is quickly becoming known for its food scene. Chefs from around the world come to Bozeman for the lifestyle, bringing their culinary skills with them. What was once a meat-and-potato town now boasts flavors from around the world.

This year, twenty-six restaurants have developed feature menu items with accompanying price breaks. For example, one of the most popular restaurants, Ale Works, is offering a three-course meal for $30, featuring new menu items; choose from Hutterite Pork Chops, wild-caught Montana trout, or grilled duck breast. Squire House is featuring a 48-Hour Braised Short Rib Special, with potato puree, cabernet Demi, and sautéed green beans for $28 – just a sampling of the great specials across Downtown Bozeman.

Offerings include breakfast and brunch, lunch, craft drinks, dinner, and sweet treats. In addition to the off-menu specials, participants can use a punch card for a chance to win some great prizes including nightly stays and downtown dollars – a great opportunity to lean into the community and a chance to win a staycation. Fill at least five punches for a chance to win - (rumor has it the odds are quite high!)

Cocktail lovers can enjoy bottling their open spirits with Bozeman Spirits Distillery. If a quiet morning is more your style, try one of Viennes’ signature butter croissants and a cappuccino for just $5.

In addition to long-time favorites, there are some new restaurants hitting the scene. Bitterroot Bistro on Willson Ave will have a rotating, seasonal menu of bistro-style items. A new German restaurant, gute Laune is opening in the Rialto, and LaBrasserie, also on Willson, will be opening soon featuring farm-to-table options.

For restaurants that are working hard, this is a great opportunity to connect with the community. For the rest of us, it’s a great reason to try something new, frequent your favorite haunt, gather with friends, or enjoy a date night.
