Best Happy Hours in Bozeman

Bozeman may seem like a small mountain town to visitors, but we have a food scene that rivals a much larger city. One of the best ways to sample several restaurants is to take advantage of happy hours around town! There are plenty to choose from, but these are some of our favorites.

The Bay Bar & Grille

3-6 pm every day

The Bay is a Bozeman classic and the spot where you find one of the few happy hours that runs every day (except Sunday when they are closed). Located inside the Gallatin Valley Mall, The Bay has been serving delicious cocktails and eats since 1988. The Bay is worth checking out, offering cocktails, wine, beer, and food during their happy hour.

Bourbon

4-6 pm every day

Though their website does not mention happy hour, Bourbon’s is one of the best-kept secrets in town. Find this gem in the up-and-coming midtown district of Bozeman, and enjoy their happy hour cocktail and food specials (the nachos are a real crowd pleaser) weeknights. In addition to their happy hour offerings, Bourbon has weekly specials like Taco Tuesday and Pulled Pork Wednesday with their unique twist.

Brigade

3-6 pm every day

$3 Happy Hour at Brigade is one of the best deals in downtown Bozeman and a great time to try their excellent food and drinks. Happy Hour at Brigade includes $3 martinis, draft beers, oysters, and $3 off on all shared plates and starters. We challenge you to find a better deal on oysters in Montana - a strange but delicious concept!

Copper Whiskey Bar

3-6 pm Monday-Friday

Just a quick jaunt down Main Street from Brigade, Copper has a Happy Hour to keep the cowboy in your life content. $4 bourbon cocktails, Montana draft beers, and $4 off select appetizers make Copper an excellent stop on your tour of downtown Bozeman.

The Club Tavern

4-7 pm Sunday-Thursday

The Club just debuted new happy hour specials, with a different offering each night. Each night has a different pairing of an appetizer with a beer, except Sunday which features their locally-famous wings with a different special sauce each week.

Devil's Toboggan

4-6 pm every day

Tucked away in the Cannery District, Devil’s Toboggan is a craft cocktail bar hidden in plain sight on the second floor of a restored factory, giving it a real speakeasy vibe. Their happy hour offerings include discounts on domestic bottled & draft beer, house red & white, and single & double well drinks. They also have discounted appetizers as well.

Montana Ale Works

4-6 pm every day

If you’re looking for a warmer, family-friendly feel to your happy hour, look no further than Montana Ale Works. A popular spot for locals and visitors alike, Ale Works Happy Hour includes $1 off draft beer, wines by the glass, and well drinks. They also boast one of the best selections of Montana-brewed beers in town, with their special Incredible IPA only available there.

CVB_best-happy-hours-blog3Revelry

3-5 pm & 9 pm-close every day

Also located in downtown Bozeman, Revelry plays host to two happy hours each day, one in the evening and one later at night. Their specials include $6 wine & bubbles by the glass, 30% off wine bottles, beer discounts, and more.

Valhalla Meadery

4-6 pm every day

Bozeman’s only meadery, Valhalla has daily happy hour food specials (except Mondays when they are closed). Their tasting room is on the north side of Bozeman. If you’ve never tried mead before, the staff at Valhalla can point you in the right direction for something suited to your tastes, and their happy hour is a great time to sample a flight at a discount.
