New Year’s Eve Happenings in Bozeman, 2021

Spending the holidays in Bozeman, Montana, is something to travel for. Spending the days outdoors – skiing, sledding, snowshoeing or ice skating – then winding down the day with family and friends over good food and libations makes the perfect holiday vacation.

And the grand finale of the season, New Year’s Eve, does not disappoint. Though the nightlife in Bozeman is impressive with its vast array of restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues, the festivities involve more than party hats and champagne; this community celebrates with something for everyone. Here are several ways to celebrate New Year's Eve and welcome the year 2022.

Bridger Bowl Torchlight Parade

The celebration begins the night BEFORE New Year’s Eve, December 30th, when Bridger Bowl Ski Area hosts its annual Torchlight Parade and fireworks show. Stick around when the lifts stop turning and enjoy dinner at Saddle Peak or Jim Bridger Lodges and live music at Jim Bridger. Watch as Bridger Bowl Ski Patrol wind their way down the mountain, lit only by torchlights. End the evening with a spectacular fireworks display!
