When you think the dining scene around Bozeman couldn’t get any better, more restaurants pop up, and the bar is once again raised. And, while longstanding favorites like The Western Café and PLONK! are still popular, we’ve been working our way through the list of new establishments and have been impressed at every turn. If you’re visiting this summer, bring your appetite, and don’t forget to make your reservations early!
La Esquina has long been a favorite of New Yorkers (with three locations!), and now their outpost in Bozeman has made fans of their own. The delicious menu is Mexican-influenced, with an extensive tequila list, and the vibe is just plain cool. Open for lunch and dinner.

Hambones is the perfect addition to any bowling outing in the newly remodeled Bozeman Bowl. Serving pizza, wings, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and all your favorite fried munchies, there’s something for everyone on the menu. Open for lunch and dinner.

For light, healthy fare, The Well Juicery at Ferguson Farm specializes in 100% organic, cold-pressed, nutrient-dense juices, smoothies, smoothie bowls, hot elixirs, and specialty milk. Plus, they have light lunch items like salads, soup of the day, and a delightful turkey sandwich. Open daily for breakfast and lunch.
Coming in August, this much-anticipated chain steakhouse is popular for its steaks, chicken, ribs, burgers, and Texas-themed décor. Their appetizer list is impressive, including Rattlesnake Bites; diced jalapeños and jack cheese, lightly fried and served with Cajun sauce for dipping.
